SALOTTO SPJ is a Milan-based contemporary jewellery and wearable art exhibition project, aiming to inspire conversations about the role and potential of jewellery today. It is a space for selected independent artists and makers to show their work and connect with museums, collectors, and new audiences.
The first series of solo shows began in January 2025 including artists Giovanni Corvaja, Joy BC, Charlotte de Syllas, Chloé Valorso and Yeena Yoon.
SALOTTO SPJ WAS CREATED BY JOSEFINE SPJELDNÆS IN 2024 AS A PLATFORM FOR INDEPENDENT JEWELLERS AND ARTISTS TO SHOWCASE THEIR WORK IN A NON-COMMERCIAL CONTEXT. JOSEFINE HAS ACCUMULATED OVER A DECADE OF EXPERIENCE WITHIN THE FIELDS OF AESTHETICS, ARTS, CULTURE AND LUXURY JEWELLERY, SPECIALISING IN CURATION AND PRESENTATION OF CONTEMPORARY ART, JEWELLERY, DIAMONDS, AND GEMSTONES.
